About labour and with labour about art

Labour subject has been thoroughly developed through the whole art history. Within the domestic genre you may find a number of such examples. The XIXth century has distinguished there the most with its realism of Millet and Daumie/ But art in itself is labour. We may note that any portrait of the artist in his studio – a representation of his work.
However, last times the trend of art development shows us not the fact of depicting and representing the labour subject, but its reverse side, technology. Probably, it has always been so and now we are just observing the most obvious stage of this process.
