After editing a book and curating a show “Generation of the Place: Image, Memory and Fiction in the Baltics” (in 2011), I started to think more and more about our generation’s relation to time. Not only historical but also per-formative and informative. After visiting so many conferences as researcher, I lost my belief in 20 min “powerpoint” presentations of your 2 years projects. The same doubts came, when I was visiting shows with more than 2 videoworks, sometimes up to 100 hours of videomaterial. I started to believe more and more in coffee breaks and cafeterias of art centres and museums. Please do not hesitate and let’s spend time together.
