Legal regulations of labor in the sphere of creative professions

Labour code of the Republic of Belarus marks the presence of peculiarities of creative professions labour regulations (part 1, article 319 LC), but there are no direct norms, only a link to a special legislation. For example, article 34 of the Law of Mass media determines the status of mass media journalist, but, unfortunately, labour-legal norms, describing specifics of journalistic profession, are absent.Thus, the features of legal regulation of creative workers are mostly associated with the subject of labor relations – a creative activity that requires a specific state routine of work.
In this report, we consider that it is possible to take into consideration only some features of legal labour regulation of creative workers on the example of mass media, theatre workers, artists, that represent their activity specifics the most.
In the labour sphere – these are the features concerning signing, changing and termination of working contract, legal regulation of working and rest schedule, remuneration of labour and discipline of work of creative professions. labor, and labor discipline of payment. Undoubtedly, other problems of labour issues regulations are also worth considering, but they are so manifold and complex, that require a separate personal study.
