Our Automatic Future

Lecture by Dmitry Boichenko

Our future is a speculation. The only thing we know, it is overpopulated with technologies. The digital world desperately wants to speak, to think and to plan. It demands its mythology and religion. The Machine doesn’t just acquire the human labour, but it does it with respect. It looks into your eyes, and it apologizes that it hasn’t done it before. Our automated future has only one big problem, and it is our human presence. Modern capitalism multiplies an economic crisis by an ecological crisis with the help of a crisis in humanities. Our presence is a ‘Terminator’ movie in reverse.

Dmtry Boichenko — graduate and professor at European Humanities University. The main sphere of interests – modern technologies.
